About the event

Long before the workshop, Miguel discusses all the practical problems with the participants: the camera, computer, editing program, air tickets, visas, accommodation and other travel arrangements.

Miguel analyzes the hotel options with the group while planning the workshop and then all participants must make their own reservations. Ideally, all participants stay in the same hotel;

Before the workshop, Miguel presents a series of slides on street photography. The presentations provide the opportunity for the group to learn what a good photograph is.

Miguel's workshop is a mix of daily photo shoots, photo criticism and theory. From morning until 5 minutes before going to sleep

Participants take pictures every day, working in pairs, in small groups or alone. . Miguel shoots with all the people every day, and so he sees the technique and the eye of each one of them, and shows each one his way of photographing. Every night everyone gathers to discuss and edit their photos. Miguel reviews the photos of the participants every day.

Each workshop begins on the morning of the first day and ends on the afternoon of the last day. Participants are encouraged to arrive at least one day before the workshop.

Each workshop requires at least 3 participants to be led. Those who register are asked to wait to finalize their travel arrangements until the workshop is confirmed.

At the end of the workshop, Miguel selects a set of the best photos of each participant. Advice and encouragement are given to work on personal projects.
