The man who could have sat next to the woman of his dreams and didn't.

ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

It had been 25 years since he last saw her, but that warm July morning in Mong Kok, Mr. Chan, a handsome man who liked to show off his body, saw the woman of his dreams, the girl who had come to his mind over and over again for 25 years. Sitting on a bench reading a current affairs magazine was the one-time Miss Kwok.

Although years had passed, Chan knew from the very first moment that it was Kwok and the desire to have a conversation with her and his nerves took over his body.

- I will approach her and ask for a light, pretending not to have recognized her. thought the strategist.

- Maybe I'll go straight to her without pretending, I've always been a very bold person! -. He harangued himself.

Chan was visibly nervous, as gossiped those who saw him in the park.

- Have you seen Chan? ,- Mr. To asked his wife.

- Yes, he is visibly nervous. Mrs To replied to her husband.

Chan knew that the excuse of asking her for a light was not going to work, it was a bad and old excuse in the whole world and had rarely worked for anyone, he wanted to go straight to talk to her although he had doubts, maybe he bothered her, maybe Miss Kwok did not remember him, maybe it was not the right moment, maybe she was married...maybe....

-I know what I'm going to do! He said to himself, the very daring one. - I'm going to sit next to her and wait for her to stop reading and recognize me.

Moral of the story: Stop thinking too much about things and do what you have to do.

Be who you are

- Has visto a Chan?- Le preguntó Mr To a su mujer
