The truth is that I had been thinking about it for a long time, I had more and more private online classes and my students wanted more and more.

  • How could I bring them all together regardless of their level?

  • How could I get them more involved with the photography classes?

  • What could I do to make them meet more photographers and to further develop (if possible) the service I was providing?

A school, the answer to all these questions and many more I asked myself was to create a school.

I got down to work and started to see commercial premises all over Hong Kong, I knew that it was not such a good idea because the prices of rents in Hong Kong are quoted on the stock exchange and are always on the rise and if you add to that the fucking pandemic of shit and the laws of this wonderful country where I live are somewhat excessive made me realize that it was not such a good idea to create a school. Just my luck

I continued giving online classes to some photographers both in Spain and Hong Kong and other countries, I had more and more clients and it seemed that finally I was going to be able to dedicate myself (again) 100% to photography, that dedication that I like so much, teaching to observe, teach to create ... not photographing weddings or events with demands of who pays, I did not want that .... I wanted to go back to the school I had before the pandemic, that school that taught visual language and that turned into trips around Asia giving street photography workshops and that left as fast as the COVID came into our lives to stay, for two years for the moment, ...and going up.

Talking to students, friends, other photographers and my wife, I finally realized that one option I had was to create an ONLINE photography school, ... that's what I was doing, I was giving online classes and it hadn't occurred to me!!... and as I've always been a guy of impulses, I got down to work to transform my website and that's it. My online street photography school is now up and running!

It starts to rain doubts and questions about how I can develop classes for all audiences and more when the classes are practical workshops.

  • How can I make people have more and more lessons?

  • The answer was clear, create more and more lessons.

I consume a lot of photography a day, many photography books that since 2013 I buy a month and many, many notes that SOON ARE GOING TO BECOME a book, I consulted on the photography course that I have on my youtube channel and I started to develop more and more lessons, lessons that I warn you ARE LIVE and not the typical recorded video where you can not interact with the teacher, in a class you always have to interact with the teacher, it happens to me as a student and it happens to me when I am the teacher, then the students ask about something and you do not have the slightest idea of what they are asking.

School.

The content of the school is very varied in lessons, courses and photographic outings.

Street photography course.

When I started giving street photography workshops I realized how difficult it was to teach people to see how you look at yourself, what you see comes from your personality, your culture, your experiences and each person is different, so I created lessons, challenges and exercises for all audiences. That's why in the school we have up to 3 courses of street photography.

Here we will learn how to read photographs, we have a database of more than 10.000 photographs and every day we will read photographs.
