Street Photography workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh February 8 - 17

February will start with a photo workshops in one of the most populated cities in the world, Dhaka, Bangladesh . We already wanted to visit the capital of this colorful country and much more of photographing what it offers to us, not only street photography but documentary (We will do a project after the workshop). As normal, our workshop consists in waking up early, taking photos, talking about photography, edition, critic and observing. We will learn how to observe in a different way

Febrero empezará con un taller de fotografía en una de las cidade con más población del mundo, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Ya queríamos ir a la campital d este colorido país y mucho más fotografiarlo, no sólo será fotografiar callejera sino que también practicaremos fotografía documental (haremos un proyecto después del taller). Como es normal en nuestros talleres el viaje consiste en en levantarse temprano, hacer fotos, hablar de fotografía, editar, hacer criticas constructivas y sobre todo observar. Aprenderemos a observar la calle de distinta forma

Nos adentraremos en su cultura y tomaremos las fotos que siempre quisimos tomar en los mercados, con los Rickshaws, andaremos por el río Buriganga, verso los ajetreos de sus calles, los colores que nos ofrece esta ciudad llena de mercadeo y vida

✔︎ Nos adentraremos en los colores de los mercados textiles

✔︎ Alrededor del Fuerte LAlbagg y Fuerte Mughal, lugares a donde llegan peregrinos de todo Bangladesh

✔︎ Nos subiremos al tren para fotografiarlo desde dentro

DESCRIPTION

Basically whole day taking photos, talking about photography, photographers and learning how to observe the street in a different way 10 Days of photography in Dhaka Bangladesh, working in a small groups or individaully

We will start our day around 8 and will go to our destinies (markets, river, riversides...and more) will provide once we confirm the workshop

We will stop at 12.00 for a break and lunch (it is included in local street food), after that we will keep walking and taking photos

Once we finnish the day (20.00, 21.00) we gather in the hotel for a selection, edition and critic about the photos and day

For being conducted, every workshop requires 3 participants

DESCRIPCIóN DEL TALLER

Básicamente el taller consiste en 10 días haciendo fotos, hablando de fotografía, fotógrafos y aprendiendo cómo observar la calle de una forma distinta, trabajando individualmente o en pequeños grupos.

empezaremos nuestros días a las 8 d ella mañana e iremos a nuestros destinos (se proporcionarán destinos una vez confirmado presencia)

A las 12 pararemos para reponer fuerzas y almorzar (incluido en el precio) para después seguir andando y fotografiando.

Sobre las 20.00 y ya cuando acabemos de fotografiar nos dirigiremos al hotel para hacer una selección, edición y crítica de nuestro día

es necesario al menos 3 personas para que el taller se lleve a cabo

REQUIREMENTS

Any camera or devive which can take photos with

lens no bigger than 35mm (suggestion)

Laptop and editing software

Comfortable shoes and clothes

whatsapp and google map in your smartphone

Travel insurance (suggestion)

IT IS INCLUDED

Hotel (non five start but comfortable). It is much better all the participants are in the same hotel

Every participant has his own room

Transportation, The transportation during the workshop if any it is included, no any taxi to go from the airport to the hotel and viceversa

Meals, Street local food is included during the workshop, not dinner

a Street Photography book PING PONG

A street photography course online (12 lessons)

It is not included, Visas, Air tickets, transportation to the hotel and to the airport another travelling cost are not included

QUE ESTA INCLUIDO

Alojamiento en hotel (no es 5 estrellas pero sí es cómo, digno y silencioso) es mucho mejor que todos los participantes se alojen en el mismo hotel

Cada participante tiene su propia habitación

Transporte dentro de horarios del taller, el trayecto al hotel desde el aeropuerto y viceversa no está incluído

Comida local en puestos callejeros durante horarios del taller, la cena no está incluída

Refund

Fee is refundable (minus Paypal or bank transfer cost) if another participant take your spot, it will not be if there is no substitute (in the last 5 weeks)

All the participants are requested to pay the full amount by PayPal, credit card, Payme 6 weeks before the workshop

It is recommended to purchase refundable travel insurance and air ticket just in case workshop is canceled

DEVOLUCION

Se devolverá el importe (menos comisión de transferencia) si otro participante toma su plaza, no se devolverá de no encontrar substituto dentro de las últimas 5 semanas antes d empezar el taller

Todos los participantes han de pagar el importe íntegro no después de las últimas 6 semanas antes del taller

Se recomienda comprar un billete de avión con reintegro total en el caso que el taller no se llegase a realizar por motivos mayores
